Warm Wishes to You
With all this cold weather, sharing this recently created card seemed appropriate not only because of the big snowflake centerpiece but also because of the nice warm sentiment from Verve's Merry Wishes set. The snowflake is an older SU/Sizzix die cut that I spritzed with some Tattered Angel's glimmer mist for some subtle sparkle. I then layered it on a piece of pink glitter cardstock by American Crafts that was die cut using MFT's circle stack. This glitter paper is so pretty and fun; it looks like candy. This was then mounted to my Pistachio Pudding colored card base. For the sentiment, I used Night of Navy and white embossing powder and then created a border for it with a white gel pen. A few rhinestones completed the sparkle.

Humphrey Girls
In the spirit of friendship and Valentine's day, I have a cute little card to share that was created using the sweet image from the Friends Forever set which is part of the Humphrey's Corner Collection. My colors are from SU's In Colors - Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding. I punched a few hearts and colored over some of them with a Wink of Stella glitter pen. Love this super cute image!

Shreddin' Birthday
Happy New Year everyone! Since most of us are trying to recover from the recent snow storm and cold temps, I wanted to share this card made with the super fun Snowboard Boy set by MFT and the Falling Snow stencil by Simon Says Stamp. I dabbed white acrylic paint onto the Midnight Muse cardstock using the stencil and then I created the "hill" by die cutting some white felt with MFT's snow drift die. The snowboarder is colored in with SU markers, Red Real and Pool Party then popped up on foam squares.
Have a fun weekend in the snow and try to stay warm :)
