I'm really enjoying the warm, summery weather that has finally arrived :) So when i was asked to make a birthday card for a 6 year old boy, I immediately pulled out this Surfer Dude set by MFT. To create the beach scene, I used a piece of Bashful Blue cardstock as my base and then layered Tempting Turquoise pieces cut with MFT's wavy edge die to look like water along with a piece of sandpaper cut with one of MFT's Snow Drift dies for the sandy shore. To create the sun and cloud, I used the Make A Scene stencil by Simon Says Stamp along with embossing paste for dimension and texture. This was super fun to create and I really like how it turned out!
