Shreddin' Birthday

Happy New Year everyone! Since most of us are trying to recover from the recent snow storm and cold temps, I wanted to share this card made with the super fun Snowboard Boy set by MFT and the Falling Snow stencil by Simon Says Stamp. I dabbed white acrylic paint onto the Midnight Muse cardstock using the stencil and then I created the "hill" by die cutting some white felt with MFT's snow drift die. The snowboarder is colored in with SU markers, Red Real and Pool Party then popped up on foam squares.

Bath Time

Loving this super cute set from the Pure Innocence line at My Favorite Things! Isn't she adorable!! My colors are rose red, regal rose, pool party, and so saffron. I used markers to color her in and then I used Stamin' Up!s new glitter glue to fill in the bubbles. Love how it turned out!!!

Super Boy!!

After many weeks, I’m back on the blogosphere. Between moving and the business of summer, I haven’t had any time to sit down at my craft table!! But now that I’m settled into my new space and summer is winding down, I’d like to share the card I made for a special little boy’s 5^th birthday. I love the Pure Innocence line of stamps by My Favorite Things and I love this little super hero boy!! I used a rather clean and simple design so that the little boy really stood out, and I went with the classic red and blue color combo: real red, bashful blue, and marina mist. So Cute - MFT

I have been drooling over the Pure Innocence line of stamps by My Favorite Things for quite a few months, and a few weeks ago I was able to reward myself with the purchase of this totally cute set. Isn't she adorable???!!!! I love how you can stamp her on patterned paper and cut out pieces to make clothes, so fun!! She also works great with markers or chalks. The cardstock is all from Stampin' Up as well as the little flower buttons, both pieces of patterned paper were gifts so I don't know the source, and the border punch is by Fiskars I believe. I'm sure you'll be seeing her again in the near future. :o)
